Alliance Grain Co. is directed by 11 board members from 10 districts. The districts are separated so that all shareholders are represented by a director. Each district has one board member, except for District 10, which has two directors at large. Elections are held every year and the directors have 3 year terms, thus ensuring that the area is properly represented. The annual meeting is in July after the May 31 fiscal year ends. The board holds meetings every month to discuss and guide the operations of these elevators.
